I long to meet and work with Juliana. – Singer Lydia Bless.

Incidences of singers yearning to work with fellow artists have surfaced on the Uganda music scene time and again. Some see their dream come to pass while others stay comfortably dreaming for such to happen.
Adding to the list of artists who wish for such togetherness on a song, is singer Lydia Bless. While in an interview on 97.7 Record FM hosted by DJ Nick recently, She revealed how she longs to meet renowned singer Juliana Kanyomozi and some artist asked why she sings like her.
To this, Lydia responded that “I love Juliana so much and has been my role model for ages. Seeing and meeting her is one of my dreams and collaborating with her. However, I never intend to sing exactly like her because I can never be her.”
The ‘Kambikukwase’ singer also revealed that she is endowed with love and have been in love for countless times as days and nights. She however thinks that no man of late can love a lady who has no financial sources which is a factor she says is keeping her distanced from love matters trying to make ends meet before she fixes her minds on relationships.
Under her ‘Bless for hope’ foundation, Lydia says that she is determined to help give more hope to vulnerable people in societies who are pessimistic about their next days.
“Many people are hopeless about tomorrow but it’s the words you speak to them that restores their hopes before even giving them sugar, soap and other basic needs. When I have a kilogram of sugar, I give that who doesn’t have a half and this speaks volumes on how much they are loved and cared for no matter what situations they go through,” she noted.
