The ‘Emboseera’ singer, Jovan Luzinda has boldly said that he and fellow singer Grace Khan were never a fitting pair and further diluted the talk that claimed that they were in love.
Luzinda, who was formerly a singer in ‘Da New Eagles’ but now under Sauti Band, told Record FM that probably Khan wanted him for love but the male singer couldn’t risk taking it in.
“In life we have agreements and disagreements. At the same time, we have goals we seek to achieve. Grace Khan might have wanted me for love yet it wasn’t a good match. We have never been in love and I couldn’t risk my life to be in love with her,” Luzinda said.
Luzinda said that he couldn’t cope up with such a relationship since he was still young during that time and wanted to first push his music forward.
“I couldn’t risk it because this would involve my life, future and other things. I couldn’t maintain such a relationship and if I was to put love first, I wouldn’t have made it in music,” Luzinda noted.
The two singers met at ‘Da New Eagles’ and became friends. Nonetheless, Luzinda says that just because he treated Khan with compassion and always helped out, Khan mistook it for love.
Their rumoured relationship mounted into a ‘common talk’ in Entertainment circles around town. Luzinda said that they finally buried the hatchet and have no problems with each other.
