We Want to be the Biggest duo ever – Kataleya and Kandle.

After releasing their debut song, Thereon music newest signing Kataleya & Kandle have vowed to do their level best in the Entertainment industry to be the best music duo ever.

They revealed this while in an interview with Record FM recently and the two believe that since they have a stable management, their presence will be seen and heard across the globe.

“We want to be the biggest duo ever in Uganda and worldwide God willing. We also want to get a platform to better our lives and to be an example that inspires other people because we also were inspired by other people before we started music,” the duo remarked.

Connecting as friends, they came to realise that they both loved music and decided to sing together in 2019. Their emergence onto the Uganda musical scene was however somewhat delayed by the pandemic and other challenges.

“When starting something, at times it never gets any easier. We also faced a lot of challenges like finding a manager, lack of trust, empty promises and people letting us down,” they said.

They decided to calm down and take things step by step; they were patient from 2019 up to when they got a management that their music journey was ready enough to tread on. And here they are.

Their first audio, ‘Muzibe wa Love’ was written and produced by Nessim Pan Production whereas the video was directed by Pest of Grate Make Films.

As the duo explains, ‘Muzibe wa Love’ loosely refers to someone who has fallen in love, more of a trap that they have no way of getting out of.
