Miss Uganda, Elizabeth Bagaya ready to bring the Miss World crown home

Written by on November 4, 2021

Speaking to Record FM a day ago, the reigning Miss Uganda 2020/2021, Elizabeth Bagaya showed optimism to express her confidence at the 70th Miss World Pageant.

She is hopeful to bring the Miss World crown home at the event that will be hosted at José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 16 2021.

According to the current ranking pages that always follow up on the contestants to know how much a contestant is working, and thereby rank, Bagaya is among the top contenders for Miss World Africa.

“I have been very fortunate that I have grown into the Miss Uganda position because I was Miss Uganda first runners up in 2019. It has boosted my confidence. I’m imagining two years ago if I was in Miss World, I would be shaking. But now I am much more confident, have grown into my title and the pageant world. I have even worked more with my ‘Beauty with a purpose’ which is mental health. That gives me more credit as Miss Uganda. I am 100% blessed because I have been able to see what other countries are doing and take my time,” Bagaya told Record FM.
