I am studying to be more knowledgeable and be a greater musician. – Fresh Kid Opens Up On Collaborating With Jay Z, Eddy Kenzo & Fresh Daddy.

The morning days of Young rapper’s, Patrick Ssenyonjo also called Fresh Kid music career were amazing especially during media interviews. His response to some of the questions posed toward him was always a simple phrase ‘Buuza Manager’ loosely translated as ‘Ask the manager.’

This showed that he could not answer to these inquiries himself thus needed the manager’s intervention which phrase also found itself added to his moniker. Time in actual fact flies and apparently, the ‘Bambi’ singer says he is now asked questions that he can respond to.

“I no longer refer you to ask my manager because you ask me questions that i can answer all by myself,” Fresh Kid revealed as he spoke to Record FM’s DJ Nick on a radio show interview recently.

The young rapper is already considered a youngster musically in Uganda. Asked about why he still bothers to go for school education, Fresh Kid responded that he seeks to build his knowledge more stairs up and be able to collaborate with musicians of big names.

“I am studying to be more knowledgeable and be a greater musician than I am now. Even if I have worked with big artists back home like Chameleone, I long to collaborate with Eddy Kenzo and many others. Not only do I want to work with artists back home but also International artists like Jay Z,” said the optimistic rapper.

About collaborating with his father, Fresh Daddy, the ‘Mazike’ singer, Fresh Kid is still between the lines adding that he allowed working with DJ Shiru on ‘Tukuba’ because he is equally big. He further revealed to 97.7 Record FM how he comes up with such big songs juxtaposed to his age.

“I haven’t written any of my songs but have tried writing a few lines which are later brought together. Some of the songs I sing are given to me as demos and some are just lyrics that I build on with a melody,” he said.

Besides music and education, Fresh Kid lives a simple life and his daily agenda highlights that; he wakes up, says a prayer, washes in the face, relaxes while watching TV, eats, socializes with buddies, and onwards, the sun goes to sleep.

He does not watch cartoons much as he is still a child and this would be an understatement to him. He watches films and his favorites are Fast & Furious 8, Last Blood, Monster Hunter, and Terminator.

He further revealed that he is a huge fan of singer Allan Toniks and went ahead to sing two of his songs from beginning to end!
