The ‘Want you that close’ singer, Titus Vybes has said that he can now boldly talk about God’s greatness, an experience he attained during this pandemic.
Vybes told Record FM that relating to a time when he fell sick and also observing the way COVID-19 is taking the world, tipped his eye.
“There is when I fell sick and also saw ministers paying 4M a day and it opened my eyes. Now I pray and thank God every day. I dropped the pride. The little I have learnt about God is enough for me to say that He is the greatest,” he noted.
Born Titus Kidasa, Vybes says that he initially never saved time to pray but the pandemic folded him, prays more often and learnt to get closer to God.
“I initially didn’t have the time; even ten minutes to talk to God. But today, I spend the whole day at home, eating, and I kneel down to thank God,” he added.
The pandemic not only showed him the greatness of God but also gave him enough time to record many songs and to get closer to his family.
Vybes is one of the artists that shared the stage on one of the recent UG Connect episodes. He said that the experience was a fascinating one while he performed for his fans though it lacked a physical crowd-feel.
