Buikwe RDC’s Office Accused of Fueling Land Wrangles in the District.

Leaders in Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District have opened up to the Minister of Lands Hon. Judith Nalule Nabakooba regarding the Residential District Commissioner’s office involvement in land wrangles.
Residents had hosted Minister Nabakooba at the alleged Custodian board land on Ntegeese and Wampogwe Villages where squatters were allegedly evicted unlawfully with the help of the RDC’s office.
Leaders lead by Njeru Municipality Mayor Kyazze Yasin told Minister Nabakooba that the office of the RDC is on record for engaging in irregularities which has led people to desist the NRM’s government.
Deputy RDC Dallah Sanoni in reply told Minister that the office of the RDC is accused of several unlawful activities which were even carried out before they occupied the office.
Minister Nabakooba ordered the alleged land owners to stop whatever they have been doing on contested land and asked ownership documents be screened in the period of two months to get a solution for the matter.
