Tomorrow Friday, August 20, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is hoping to release the 2020 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examination results.
These results will be of over 98,393 students in total who sat for the UACE examinations earlier this year in April from 2,339 examination centres nationwide.
The ceremony will be convened at the State House, Nakasero, conducted scientifically with strict observance of the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) set by the Ministry of Health.
Airing live on National Radios and Televisions, the public will be able to get the proceedings of the whole ceremony.
UACE results set to be released tomorrow come third after the release of Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results a month ago.
2020 UCE results were released on Friday July 30 whereas 2020 PLE results were released on Friday July 16 by the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet K. Museveni.
With results of the 2020 academic year national examinations released, Janet noted that selection of Senior One and Five students would be conducted only after the situation normalises.
A few days ago, Janet raised a call to all teachers and students above 18 years to get vaccinated as it is key in the reopening of learning institutions.
“We appeal to the public to join us in efforts of mobilising our teachers and learners aged 18 and above in all the Education Institutions of Learning ― both public and private, to go for their COVID-19 vaccination jab,” said Janet.
